I think Room is a good book for teenagers as it deals with some complex issues and also explores the concept of love in dark areas despite the horrifying plot of the story, Room isn't a scary book, but rather, an interesting yet sad perspective of a young boy and his differences to other kids his age, due to being in confinement all his life. Jack doesn't really know what's going on but the reader understands the horror of the situation completely.
